Digital X-Ray
A dental digital x-ray (radiography) system can take a picture of your
teeth, and enable Dr. Lee to show it to you while you are still sitting in
your dental chair. You no longer had to wait for the x-ray to develop as it
is instantaneous. With this technology, we can zoom in on a single tooth,
rotate it and sharpen it, all of which can aid in your diagnosis.
Digital imaging offers the advantage of an 80% reduction in radiation, no
need for film or processing chemicals, production of a nearly instantaneously
image, and the ability to use color contrast in the image. |
